It is situated north-west of Johannesburg, at S25°56.0, E027°55.3, near the scenic Magaliesberg mountains, and close to tourist and business amenities.

Lanseria is the designated airport of entry for all non-scheduled flights into South Africa, and has 24-hour Customs and Immigration facilities, as well as Jet A-1 and Avgas 100LL bowser refuelling facilities.  Click here for current fuel prices.

Lanseria runway complexThe main runway, 06 Left, is 10 000 feet long with an LCN of 38.  We have an alternate runway, 06 Right, which is 4 380 feet, and a cross-runway, 17/35, which is 3 000 feet.

06 Left has an ILS approach.

There are full fire and emergency services available at the airport.

Getting to Lanseria by road.

Lanseria is easily accessible from Pretoria and Johannesburg, and is well sign-posted from the R28 and N1 freeways.  It is located just off the R512, and is about 25 minutes from Sandton city centre, 35 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport, and 15 minutes from Fourways Mall.
