Air 2000 have a variety of aircraft available for hunters to charter. Choice of aircraft depends on the runway surface and length at the destination, distances between stops, the number of passengers, and the speed and comfort required. All aircraft are maintained to the same standards laid down by the Federal Aviation Administration, whilst the pilots are qualified to the same levels that you would expect to find in a US charter operation.

Charter in Southern Africa is remarkably effective; there is a wide range of aircraft available, fuel and airfields are plentiful, well maintained and strategically located to all the principal hunting areas.

Light Piston-Engine Aircraft

These are an ideal alternative to driving around Southern Africa. With a choice of seating configurations, you can have between 4 and 6 passengers accommodated in these aircraft.

Air 2000 operate both the Cessna Grand Caravan - the ultimate aircraft for a fly-in safari to the wilder parts of Africa and the Pilatius PC 12 which is a fast, reliable option with a pressurised cabin.

Meet and Greet

For your convenience, Air 2000 offers a unique concierge service to assure you of a stress free arrival in South Africa. You are welcomed with a personalised name board at arrival - either OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport. You will be assisted with immigration, baggage collection, identification of firearms and/or bows before going through customs. Once formalities are completed, you will be assisted to the charter aircraft or onward scheduled flight.
